Animal lovers live the world over with rescue groups found in every country. Change a Pet’s Life Day is about keeping your eyes open to the world around you and seeing if there are any animals in distress. This could be a dog chained outside that never gets off its chain, a cat abandoned by the side of the road, a horse neglected and starving. All around us, everywhere in the world, animals are suffering and you can do something about it. Even if you can’t adopt, you can alert rescue missions in your area with the skill and tools necessary to save the animals life and place it in foster care until a forever home can be found. Change a Pet’s Life day raises awareness about the work of animal rescue groups and the happiness the animals they save receive with a second chance at life.
